Equestrian Team
The Celestial Equestrian Team is for intermediate to advanced riders who want to further their riding skills and increase their knowledge of horse care and management, stable and farm management, and more while being a part of a team. Each year we will have team awards for different high point categories.
We have an Equestrian Team for the teenagers and more advanced students and a Junior Equestrian Team. To be on the Equestrian Team, students should be ages 13 and up and at least on Green Level Riding. To be on Junior Equestrian Team, students should be below 13 and able to trot independently, ideally on Yellow Level Riding but may take some Red Level Riding students on a case by case basis.
Requirements
Compete in at least three shows each year
Attend at least one lesson per week (on weeks that a student is unable to, they will be able to either do extra homework or do extra riding time with a single lease day)
Attend scheduled Equestrian Team monthly meetings - meetings may include riding instruction, class instruction, clinics, and team building exercises
Participate in or audit at least two clinics per year
Participate in at least three different community service events per year- can include volunteering at home shows, coming to barn cleaning days, volunteering on a summer camp day, etc.
Cost-
$85/ meeting for members unless special event/ clinic
$90/ meeting for non-members
unless special event/ clinic
$50/ year in membership dues to cover cost of record keeping, awards, etc.
